Rodney became Pastor at MVBC in August of 2008. He is a bi-vocational pastor and works in the utility industry during the week. Rodney turned his life over to the Lord at the age of 30. He was called into vocational ministry in 2003, and began serving as Associate Pastor at Frazier Baptist Church in 2004 until coming to Missouri Valley. He explains, “God calls each one of us to a personal, intimate relationship with Him – I want to help people understand that decision and encourage them in their walk with God, becoming the person He is shaping them to be. I want to encourage everyone toward the forgiveness, hope, peace, love and joy that Christ offers.” Originally from Tarkio, Missouri, Rodney is married to Dina and the father of three great kids.

Born and raised in northwest Missouri, Seth Mason felt a call to ministry at a very early age. “I had always enjoyed music and ministry, but one day God decided He wanted me to join the two.” God’s call on Seth’s life has been his focus for the past few years. This focus on God’s call has not been easy! In 2009, this focus led Seth overseas for four and a half months, where he served as a missionary in central Africa. Seth’s role at Missouri Valley is lead worshipper, a role Seth does not take lightly. “Around Wednesday is when I start preparing my heart to lead others in worship, by praying for church members and praying for the songs that will lead us to the cross.”

Dina grew up in northern Virginia and began her relationship with the Lord just before middle school. She has been involved at MVBC since August of 2008 when her husband, Rodney, became Pastor. Dina began working with Women’s Ministry in July of 2009. “My hope is to not overload busy women with lots of meetings and church “obligations”, but simply to encourage an environment where we can be ourselves and learn to lean on God more all the time. I really enjoy being with the ladies here – I just want to walk with them toward Him.” Dina is a homeschooling mother of three children.
