Ephesians: The Armor of God (Part 2)

Rodney continued his message on the Armor of God this morning, focusing on the second piece of armor given in Ephesians: the breastplate of righteousness. God is both the source and sustainer of our righteousness, and Rodney encouraged us to rely on him ever moreso to protect our hearts.

This morning, as we continued our series in Ephesians, we arrived at what may be the most familiar portion of this book to most people… “The Armor of God”. Rodney shared an encouraging and challenging message, pleading with us to ensure that we don’t live a moment of our lives unprotected from the attacks of Satan. We must make use of that which God has given us, that we might stand firm in our faith.

As we near the end of our series in Ephesians, Rodney encouraged us to reflect on the fact of spiritual warfare. Satan is real, and he fights a battle with each of us… for the very souls of non-believers, and for the effectiveness of our service of a Christian’s service to God. Ephesians: Slaves and Masters

Today, Rodney continued his series in Ephesians, sharing a message from Ephesians 6 regarding slaves and masters. In relating the modern day analogues to these positions, he challenged us to consider how our certain portions of our lives should look in light of our relationship with Christ and Paul’s admonitions.
